Operations on the P.R. Line consist of running freight and passenger trains on both the standard gauge PRRR and narrow gauge The Highlands Ridge RR.
Tab-on-Car System

Operations on the Pine Ridge Railroad are based on John Allen’s “Tab-on-Car” (ToC) system.
Digitrax DCC System

The PRRR uses a Digitrax DCC system for operating locomotives.
Virtual Tour

Location: Arapahoe Mt. Division
Future plans call for developing a virtual tour of the Pine Ridge Railroad. We may even include a video.
Train Classifications

Location: AT&SF GP-7s Reefer Block
There are several types of train classifications on the P.R. Line. AT&SF has trackage rights over the Arapahoe Mt. Division for their California reefer block fast freights and Super Chief passenger trains.
John Allen TimeSaver
Dates: 2024
Location: John Allen TimeSaver
The John Allen TimeSaver switching puzzel was incorporated into the City of Andrew. The shrubs near the railroad ties mark the location of the Kadee under-the-track electro-magnetic uncouplers, which are activated by control panel red pushbuttons.
